RINSOURCE from Guru Alliance provides C.L. Thomas, Inc. Secure Web-based RINS Management Solution

Solution enables industry and regulatory compliance for transacting RINS

Omaha, Nebraska – October 20, 2008 – Guru Alliance, a US headquartered, multi-national software development, IT consulting, and outsource solutions provider for the Petroleum industry, announced today that C.L. Thomas, Inc., one of the largest convenience store operators and motor fuel distributors in Texas, has selected Guru Alliance’s RINSOURCE Management Portal solution.

RINS (Renewable Identification Numbers) are serial numbers assigned to ethanol and other bio-fuels when originally manufactured or otherwise introduced into the U.S. marketplace by producers or importers.  The RINSOURCE Management Portal, developed by Guru Alliance, provides producers, importers, blenders, marketers, and petroleum jobbers a secure web-based platform for managing the acquisition and distribution, record-keeping and reporting of RINS for every batch of renewable fuel produced or imported, while complying with industry regulations set by the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA).
